A condensed set is a sheaf of sets on the category of profinite spaces (with an appropriate notion of covers) which is a colimit of representables. These are the basic objects of condensed mathematics, a new point of view due to Dustin Clausen and Peter Scholze, intended to a convenient setting for working with algebraic objects equipped with a natural topology (e.g., Banach algebras). In particular, this allows for a unification of analytic with algebraic geometry.
