                                                   Abstract:

The talk is devoted to particular problems of the Extrinsic Geometry

of Foliations, which, roughly speaking, describes how the leaves are located

within the ambient Riemannian manifold. The following topics seem to be

central in the field:

  1. Integral formulae for foliations.
  2. Variations (and critical metrics) of functionals defined on foliations.
  3. Prescribing the curvature of foliations using extrinsic geometric flows.
