Title: &#8220;Shifted symplectic reduction&#8221;."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>This talk will be on Zoom:<\/strong><br><a href=\"https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/j\/83920631646?pwd=cWZRWjllZWEvdjVSNVhTdUxMMGlwUT09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/j\/83920631646?pwd=cWZRWjllZWEvdjVSNVhTdUxMMGlwUT09<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I will start explaining that Hamiltonian reduction can be understood as a particular<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">instance of Lagrangian intersections, within the framework of shifted symplectic geometry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One can see this first part of the talk as an example based introduction to the ideas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">of shifted symplectic geometry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This will naturally lead to consider shifted versions of Hamiltonian reduction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I will then state the main result of the talk, saying that the derived critical locus<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">of a function defined on a quotient space X\/G can be obtained as a shifted reduction<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">of the derived critical locus of the corresponding function on X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This somehow follows from a more general fact, stating that shifted reduction commutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">with lagrangian intersection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is based on a joint work with Mathieu Anel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This talk will be on Zoom:https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/j\/83920631646?pwd=cWZRWjllZWEvdjVSNVhTdUxMMGlwUT09 I will start explaining that Hamiltonian reduction can be understood as a particular instance of Lagrangian intersections, within the framework of shifted symplectic geometry.
